I have a deep passion for storytelling — it is true, fictional and non-fictional stories are always present in my conversations, and I love sharing them as much as I love building vibrant worlds, memorable characters, and experiences that inspire and challenge people through poetry and novels. I firmly believe that stories are great tools for teaching empathy, courage, kindness, and moral decisions, especially to young minds.

It has always been impactful, right? From the oldest texts of literature to sacred inspirational stories and quotes, storytelling never disappoints. Regardless of the context, language, circumstances, location, or time – it keeps happening because life is always in its incredible force, making sure everything keeps moving, circling, and evolving. That is why I write stories. I love being part of this movement.

Now, I will tell you a bit about this third book of mine: Close To Freedom. It tells a heartfelt tale about Forza, a curious girl living in London, and her adventures alongside brave mice as they tackle a significant challenge. It encourages children and all readers really to think about their actions and how impactful they can be, along with the vital roles of bravery and kindness, both presented in Forza and Hercules characters.

To celebrate my mixed heritage (which I am super proud of) and promote cultural understanding, I’ve sprinkled in some Italian words in the book text. I am an advocate for diversity and justice and strongly believe it will foster respect and diversity for all readers by inspiring them to view their power of choice and the importance of moral integrity.
