WILL TO WRITE
I had the urge to write out of the blue
About something or nothing, but mind you
I’ll write words, sentences, and paragraphs
Create stories, fables, and rhymes
With or without metric, I’ll do it my way
Big or small, I’ll keep prejudice away
I’ll start out with a few characters
And they’ll live happily ever after
As in every movie or cartoon
Kids will enjoy it more than ever.
